Keep on rolling, you will enjoy smoking them all the more rolling your own. I never smoked cigars till I got into whole leaf and started rolling them my self.

Yesterday was a fine day. It was the last day of school (I've been a second grade teacher for 16 years) and UPS dropped off my WLT order late in the evening. Time for my first attempt at rolling. It was harder than I hoped it would be, but maybe with time and practice I'll figure it out. Here's the pic. I didn't mean to roll the big one so large, but I did mean to roll the small one so little. I've been a fan of the cheroot look since seeing The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly decades ago.

Very good, Steve, congrats on breaking the ice! Those look a whole lot better than my first solo attempts :)

My latest batch, did these up yesterday:

Trying out the Criollo ligero. Some Brazilian viso and colombia seco in the mix. Cameroon wrappers. I didn't put too much effort into the wrapping and capping aesthetics as I was in a hurry.

Today's effort, inspired by webmost's work of art cigars. The top two are his of course and the bottom one is mine : )

2 days aged 3 x 40. Air dried for 2 days.
Pigtail finish- Held together great. Wet the very tip in Tequila.
Burned great, although a little hot. The filler was dry.
Rolled 2, the other one is aging.

Nice one.

I tried a few "shorts" a while back and found them hot too. Getting them lit well with a butane torch lighter before puffing helps a lot with that issue.

My second Entubado style rolled stick. I typically roll book style but the burn/draw is off so I decided to switch styles and I'm liking it so far.

2 leaves Nic Viso, 2 leaves dom Seco and wrapper/binder Criollo98. Burn needed a few touch ups, but compared to my previous book rolls this style makes for a better burning stick for sure.
