I have 1 silk leaf I haven't touched except for insecticide this season. I have it in a pot by the back door, used it as a "bait" to keep those flea beetles away from the garden (worked decently). Now it's cold enough most of the beetles have died off or moved on and I have the plant left.

I have decided to donate it in the name of science.

I'm not going to pick any of it at all, now I need to decide what I'll do in the name of science. Any suggestions on what to do, experiments, tests etc?

How is/was the plant? What is it like not having pruned it? Did it grow like a bush or something?

That plant is long gone so sorry, No pictures. It grew to about 2 feet tall, took FOREVER to flower out, got attacked by aphids. tiny leaves, didn't really grow like a bush, just a mini tobacco plant. There was so much aphid material on it I chose not to smoke it...well...I DID smoke it, but in the burning bin with some other stuff (the whole neighborhood smelled like a cigar!)
