Is 5 gallons buckets good enough for growing good healthy tobacco plants for rolling cigars?
Yes. The plant and leaf will be a little smaller but I grow some of my filler that way. If you go that way make sure you use a nice light soil and put a couple of drain holes in each bucket. A guy in this neck of the woods seals driveways. He had lots of empty 5 gal buckets. I got a bunch and plan to try them this year. I'm just not sure if the black bucket will get too hot and cook the roots. If that seems to be happening I'll just wrap some aluminum foil around them. -·-Is 5 gallons buckets good enough for growing good healthy tobacco plants for rolling cigars?
