Cut anutter tree Yesterday. Just takin it easy on the back. I have 300 virg. gold in cells. I have 3 diffrount dark kinds started and will start Orientals next week. I haven't tilled any backer patches yet.

Mine are healthy but not dark, confirms I should get fresh bulbs.

They were started in 50/50 jiffy starter mix an M G potin soil. and put in cells with M G pottin soil.

Im gonna start tillin the patches that are dry enuff today. Im gonna use a preemerge weed killer.

What kind of weed killer are you going to use, and can it be used in a regular vegetable garden also? How long after it is put down before you can plant?

I have to pick up the rocks in the patch that the rain exposed, then I'll be ready for the first tilling as soon as it dries out enough.

Im usein Treflan its a weed seed killer. Im tillin it in 6weeks before plantin in this patch. but it kills seed not plants .I wount useit lrss than a week before plantin.
