Dixie shade

I’m considering growing this strain next season. Does anyone know if it needs to be kilned the same as I have done for my glesnor?

I have a naturally shaded area of my garden that may work well for a shade grown variety so the environment is sort of calling for me to try it.

Can anyone share any differences with regards to growing/processing shade growns? Any other heirloom American cigar varieties I should try?
