I was encouraged to cross post some videos related to a plug press I designed, built, and have used. I have found it to be simple, effective, and consistent. In the 11” form shown here, it can yield a 2” W x 3” L x 2” T plug. It cost about $15 for the oak and uses a trigger grip clamp to apply pressure.
