I believe the strain is Hopi, We just got our first good couple weeks of sunlight. Are you talking about the tobacco trichomes? I was really amazed to see that my plants where completely covered in a dense covering of them at this point. I have my largest companion planted with camomile (supposed to increase resin in aromatic herbs)

Yes, my Sacred Cornplanter appeared fuzzy with trichomes. Although it may have been just random, the Cornplanter seemed to attract earwigs to the growth tips, despite the dense trichomes.

I've used oil like that as an herbicide before. I noticed the dead leaves seem to rot off.
@deluxestogie I too noticed insects on my rustica plants, but these seem to be small black beetles, and the ones I'm finding are all dead and stuck to the stem. I'm going to see about uploading some pictures soon and starting a grow log
