when i googled frost dates for my area, i ended up with these three sites which may be of interest to growers (maybe especially new growers)
the first gives average frost dates for specific areas (both us and canada) which is helpfull since it appears that areas south of me may get first frost, for example, before i do. my assumption would have been that anywhere south of me gets first frost later than me.

the second has a chart that is very easy to understand once you read the blurb underneath it. it helps you determine the risk factor you are willing to take for frost. (however i am unsure if this is a universal calculation, or region specific. maybe someone can chime in.)

i also found this one for people who plant other things than tobacco. it autofills when to plant/harvest based on your last frost date.
