Help identifying new to me tuck cutter

I picked up this tuck cutter. Im hoping someone could help me identify it so i can see what the missing handle and press block look like. Hopefully i will be able to manufacture something to work. I did make the walnut block for now just guessing as to what it should look like


also it seems as the though the fixed blade sits on the tray. I wondering though on weather i should reshape it to sit closer to the platform.

the only text on it i can see is “PAT AUG 1 9 9”

I have not seen this one but, I want to know what that wing nut does. And is that a mount hole for something on the back of it?

The wingnut is a stop for the cutter depth. And the hole back i was also wondering if something would mount there. It is not threaded.

actually probably more accurate a description would be for how far down the press block presses (ring guage) down.
