You can purchase a cheap ohm meter for about $15. That route may be much less expensive than sending the whole machine back to the manufacturer. Plan B might be to just call them to order a switch, and swap it out.
Yep that if it is the switch I think it may have been jammed. Because when doing the reverse to clear the heads the blades turn the opposite way. It was jammed I cayse of the fan on then the air then the motor clicks in and the blue light is flashing. Before it was just the solid blue light on no fan at the start. Its hard to explain.
okay it was jammed the unjam button works now however to shred I still have to go backwards by lightly touching the unjam it will go in shredding mode. The wiring all looks good. I now its something to so with the switch and not that mechanically inclined to take out a switch I think it may need to be realigned with the contact.
