Hello! After two weeks or so after planting, (when the third leaf and fourth are visible) they shrivel up and die. What could be the problem here?

Your problem is most likely the soil you're using. Never use potting soil to start seeds. It most likely contains Urea (‎CH4N2O) which stunts root growth of the seedling. The tiny stalk begins to rot at the base and looks a lot like damping off. Eventually, the seeding just lays down and dies. Almost all home potting soil contains Urea.

My first shot at seedlings ended similarly. I switched to a mostly peat (miracle gro seedling) soil and miracle gro seedling fertilizer (Urea free) . That fixed it.
