These plants grew like weeds this year. The warm temperatures and high humidity I believe really helped them out. Almost all of the Tn Red plants were over 6' and some even 7' tall. The attached picture is 10 plants worth of leaves, about 188 leaves in total.

Very nice color. Your humidity in the region must be perfect. This seems to be the most critical variable for tobacco to naturally do its thing in air curing.
Thanks! I harvested during a high humidity spell, but it has since normalized. I'm in Michigan and the weather here is anything but predictable. It has been an exceptional year for tobacco production.

It's getting cold in my region of the US, so it was time to take my tobacco off the line and move it inside. I've also started to re-hydrate and de-stem some of it. This will be an on-going project throughout the winter I suspect.
What a wonderful letter! Unfortunately, all my seedlings of this variety died at the initial stage, but I still have some seeds, so maybe something will grow from them next year.
