The ''old farm equipment'' thread...and old bacca production thread,

[Chicken]

THE TITLE SAYS IT. ALL.... if you got some old farm equipment that you see all the time... let us see it also....

you may want to check this thread regurally if you like seeing old equipment...

...ill start with a current bacca farm i was at... thats been in the family for 100+ years.. from the old to the modern... they still grow bacca there. i deliver thier fertilizer to them/

...

and this bacca barn is right down the road from this historic farm... the pic may look crooked but it isnt.. the barn is leaning.. the board shots are the inside of it.. which looks really good for its age.. and the base is made of flint rock..

..

a couple of members have been waiting to see my pics... the wait is over.. i got many more to come,

[Chicken]

a old restored or at least painted nice, tractor and equipment that i seen . along a backroad in georgia, '' the fella has the stuff chained and padlocked''

..

[Chicken]

and some more old pic's of equipment,,,,well only 1 pic '' took'' damn<--------

but thats what this thread is... old pic's.

..

[Knucklehead]

This is a cool thread. BigBonner has posted some neat tobacco working equipment before, maybe he will repost some here.

[Chicken]

seen this in a guys barn.. i guess he has plans on restoring it.

..

[rainmax]

Nice machines. I need to copy that barn for myself. No more place around here since I'm city farmer.

[bonehead]

with all the wood work racks i am suprised the building could get that much lean to it.

[Texasgrown]

Here is a pic of some of our old farm equipment. 66 years and going strong. Really it's just my pop showing off how much his favorite peach tree ( one of the varieties he said would do well) last year. I think it's bc he gave it extra water but I am not going to argue.

[Cigar]

Nice peach tree Texasgrown..reminds of my baby [Indian clinch] who died last year after many great years of giving small but sweet peaches..I wish knew were to buy one of those again but no luck so-far.

That said, I suspect that peach trees are not generally considered early farm equipment. Nice photos, Chicken.

Great pictures. I love the old farm stuff. You must keep a keen eye out for this stuff.
Is that your white truck we saw in a few of the shots ?

[Chicken]

Yeah that's my truck...I made a lot of videos...soon I'll post them in a new thread....keep a eye out for it.

A most enjoyable thread, Chicken!

And that AC "B" was the same as the one my Dad bought in 1939. The first farm tractor in our area. I learned to drive on it starting about age 7.

It's still in the barn here - on my "round-tuit" list to get it running again.

this old tractor was at that same farm

[Chicken]

allthough very modern.....thats some serious bacca processing equipment right there

[FmGrowit]

Those old AC and Farmall high crop cultivators are sweet. You really can't grow a production crop without one.
