I am very new to making my own dip, still at the research phase, and having trouble finding much out about how Copenhagen black was made. So far I have basically only found that it was barrel aged, does anyone know what tobacco strains were used, woods used for smoke cure, and temperature and length the barrels are stored to age the tobacco? I am still at a point where I am unsure what questions to ask, if anyone has been able to produce something similar I would be very interested in learning how you did it, thanks for your time in advance!

Welcome to the forum. Feel free to introduce yourself in the Introduce Yourself forum. In addition to smokeless topics highlighted in the Index of Key Forum Threads (link in menu bar), there is also some smokeless info in the WholeLeafTobacco.com Wiki (link also in the menu bar).
