It's from Brazil. A friend was sourcing coffee in some remote mountain town, and met the guy who makes them. The brand is "LAM". He has an ingenious locking mechanism which gives it a loose lock when it's closed and a good one when it's open. You pry it apart slightly to unlock it. I think the photos will explain.
