Nice handsome mature plants! Two pools are showing signs of ripeness. One pool is showing signs of maturity. We have a week of rainy weather coming up so I may hold off longer on priming the first two pools until the rain has passed and the leaf is even more ripe for cigarettes. I have some flue cure processed Virginias put back so these will be sun cured.View attachment 46615View attachment 46616View attachment 46617View attachment 46618
The leaves are huge. Even the tip leaves are big. It has been awhile since I have been able to see the blue pools. I see them now out of the corner of my eye and have to do a double take. Whazzat? Oh.Those are some beautiful and impressively large leaves! I think you should change your user name to "TheLeafWhisperer"![]()

A folding laundry rack might be cheaper than just buying more Jeeps. The leaf hanging in the garage wilted in a day. They were as crisp as fresh celery yesterday. I moved them out for sun curing.

I am going to have to rig up a sun curing rack. I don't think my Jeep grill is going to be able to keep up much longer. These leaves seem to be going ripe all the way to the top at the same time. And quickly.

By curing rack I meant a rope strung between a tractor and a tree.A folding laundry rack might be cheaper than just buying more Jeeps.

Pretend that the leaf is not ready to harvest, and go have a cup of coffee. What to do?
