I'll second Knuckles on that - you paid attention while at Graycliff. Beautiful how are they smoking for you?
Gosh. I should probably measure some other body parts. My parents raised me as a human, but... maybe I'm a rustica.
I guess size really does matter.
Regardless of my species (or even genus), that cartoon cigar was about 60 ring. A lit 70 is more like a bonfire.

This is only my 2nd Month, and yes, I've smoked a few too. Some of these were wrapped in Seco leaves, the lighter ones with Habana 2000. I prefer the taste of these whole leaf wraps over store bought. Obviously, they're not real pretty yet, but that will come when I start ordering Wrapper material.
I use Arabic gum (Acacia fiber in the health food stores) for glue, and also have cellulose. The shiny ones I used too much Acacia fiber glue. I mixed in nutmeg, cinnamon, and stevia in the mix for some chew in the fiber. Works good. Just don't know if I should smoke it with the additives, so I go plain on the cigars.
I also add either Rum or bourbon for humidity control.

Hay Bruce, I remember those from that other site. Very nice.

Very nice, Dave!
I use the cellulose glue - seems to work much better than gum arabic (so my wife can have her gum arabic back).
I see you keep the blend info on the bands. That's pretty handy. I keep a separate log in my cigar inventory spreadsheet, then just put a serial # on the back of the cigar band.
Yeah, the cellulose is great stuff. Hmmm, I think I need to do a log as well, the serial # is also a great idea! What's your favorite blend?
I've had some good luck with a few. Nic. Habano, Piloto Cubano, Dominican Liguero, and a touch of Brazilian Mata Fina. Finally have the blend right on that one. Dominican can be used, but a Habano needs to be used as either a binder or a Habana 2000 wrapper. Haven't tried the Corojo yet, but I've heard it's a great wrapper.
Hello Marc - yes, I'm double-postingJust joined this site a few days ago - more focused discussion on rolling/blending/etc.
Bruck...I've seen you over at that other site as well. I agree 100% that this forum is by far the leader when it comes to GYO and RYO and all that compasses such. Here, though there are some of us (such as myself) that new to rolling...there's not the pages and pages of "wow", "how'd you do that" and crap that we can get over there...props to you!
You're.......on a roll!![]()
