Heck I am happy to share my blends, Ive only been at this a short time but Ive gotta tell ya, I really like my stogies better than a lot of the retail sticks Ive tried and Ive smoked a bunch. I actually spent a while reviewing cigars online as a hobby, google cigar reviews El Cubanito for a hoot! I don't have a website anymore but the reviews are out their in cyberspace, YouTube videos. I will post my favorite blends later today after work. I do like the Criollo 98 wrapper, and favor the Dominican ligero over Nicaraguan I think the Nicaraguan ligero a bit stronger. Dominican Visos really tastey too. Thanks for the compliments on my stogies appearance, hope to get feed back when you tryout some of the blends. Indianamac gave me one that is really smooth will repost that one too.

Ok so here's one of my favorite so far, not to much power but it is a med to full cigar. Dominican binder, 2 Dominican Viso, 1 Dominican ligero, 1 Nicaraguan seco leaf, criollo 98 wrapper. This is a 50-52 ring gauge stick.
Indianamac turned me on to his blend it is : 2 Nicaraguan seco, 1 Nicaraguan ligero, 1 Dominican ligero, 1 Habano viso, Dominican binder, maduro wrapper. It a very good stogie with plenty of punch, and some pepper notes on exhale through the nose.

I'd like to try your blend but am confused. I don't see Dominican Viso listed. Did you mean Dominican seco or is it out of stock?

What specifically is the "Habano viso" from Indianamac's recipe?

Thanks!

I'm assuming the Dominican Viso is supposed to be Dominican Seco.

Habano Viso grown in Nicaragua and is the from the mid-upper stalk position. Stronger in favor and nicotine than Seco and less than Ligero. The leaf thickness is greater than Seco and less than Ligero.

I like the look of the binder leaf. What leaf is that?
Thanks

If you are refering to the binder leaf in my recipe, it is a Dominican binder and I bought it from Mr. Don @ WLT! He can tell us more about where it hails from and also its characteristics.

It makes a nice wrapper also!!

My mistake, it's not Dominican Viso, it's Criollo Viso so probably Criollo 98 Viso. I ve also used the Nicaraguan Viso it's just a bit more powerful but still goooood!

So I received some Ecuador maduro wrapper today and got busy rolling stogies, this stuff was really good to work with, pliable and not too veiny. Can't wait to fire one up, but think it best to let them rest a couple days after rolling.

I think you are going to like the Maduro. It is my favorite, followed by the Corojo, then the now unavailable Besuki. There will be Besuki seed floating around this fall. :D

I'm a maduro fan, I tried some a while back, don't think it was Dons, but the veins were so fat that I had trouble rolling them. This e unadorned maduro rolled real easy.

The edit button is good for several minutes. You can go back and change your post as long as the edit button at the bottom of the post is still visible.

Besuki is from Java/Sumatra in Indonesia. Wonderful wrapper leaf.
