They all look prety good. I'm with Buck, And Your in for a treat! This week end is My roll date as well. I am dying to fire this torpedo up You rolled. However She is going into the box of fame to rest a while.I'm just waiting to see what's the best they got.. going to try rolling a drum stick this weekend.
PS: webmost, what is a kit?" Can I ask what tobacco is in said kit for the roll You sent out"? I want My roll fair when I loose please. Mad-
Well it was foolish of me, really. When I started the thread in the cigar.com forum "Trades, Passes and Bombs" section, I overlooked the fact that those fellows would not have tobacco on hand. Stupid omission. In one afternoon I got half a dozen contestants throw their hats in the ring, but none of them had supplies. Just about number four contestant posted he had no notion where to get leaves, and I replied I'm a dope and let me send you some. Before I knew it all the rest said me too. In brief, I wound up scraping the bottom of the cooler to complete six kits. I had half a pound of Don's Dom Seco, which is fine smelling tobacco but not my fave to smoke. Threw in some of Don's Paraguay Ligero I had, just to eke out the piles. So I portioned that stuff out six ways. I was about out of Dominican binder, but I had a bag of BigBonner's MD 609, so I divvied that up. I had just a few of Don's Ecuador Maduro wrapper leaves left. Had to augment that with odds and ends left over from former rolls. The good thing is, I cleaned out a lot of partial bags I had laying round, and made room for the next order.
Then of course I also threw in the same small box with the Punch champion to serve as an example shape, my home rolled perfecto to serve as an example how home rolled can at least taste good, the FX Smith maduro perfecto cause I like them and that's how I got in bed with that factory, and then a cigar called "13" which I have a bunch of and I think tastes like the perfecto.
Hopefully, some of these guys will enjoy the process enough to buy some WLT leaf and dive in. I have plugged Don's sites pretty heavy over there and that site pretty heavy over here; but I have not seen any of us here appear there nor vice versa. I encourage you all to cross the boundaries. There's good cigars on both sides. And good folks, too. They're the guys taught me the value of a give-away section for a cigar forum; just like this give-away section I encouraged Don to add. Sometimes the funnest thing you can do with a cigar is give it away to a stranger.
Got a new order of leaves on the way. Hope to roll up some big batches of perfectos and stash them for next winter. Thinking of brewing some stout or some porter then. Maybe our new friend from Harrisburg who is a brewer would kick in his expertise. Have a big friendly herf somewheres, break out the home rolled and home brewed, for manly men. Thump our hairy chests and drive the broads to go visit their mother in law. Haruff ruff rump.
Well, I gotta get back to a programming project now. Catch you later.
When I sent some to Ben I think it took 6 Business days. The no tracking sucks tho.Stumbled across the customs form I had to fill out to send to South Africa. There's no tracking on those puppies that I can see. I have this customs form number is all. How long should it take to get to you, you think?
OMG... where is FTT?
