lol yes from non European country's to European country's you have to pay taxes and customs.
you cant call a Portuguese spainiard lol that's an insult we have 900 years as an independent country, and we are a much bigger country than Spain, we have less mainland true, but our borders extend for 4.000.000 km in the Atlantic ocean

One slight historical correction (no insult intended!): from 1580 to 1640 Portugal was under the Spanish Crown. And about all that territory in the Atlantic Ocean, international law only recognizes territorial waters extending as far as 12 miles, so is all that territory in the Atlantic within 12 miles of the Atlantic islands that are Portuguese sovereign territory?

Back to topic: those tariffs are oppressive! Perhaps if the rest of the world retaliated with comparable tariffs on European imports, then maybe your tariffs might go down. One can hope, I guess.

we are an independent country since 1139 that period you talk was about kings and queens married with kings and queens from the what now we call Spain

you dont insult me no problem I'm used to see Portugal confused with Spain, see the history of my country neglected, or diminished but facts are facts , are you aware that in the 60s this little country had a war 3 times longer and harder than Vietnam? we are only about 9 millions but we deployed 150000 man to fight in Africa and we fight for 11 years, and the war end not because we lost but because we had a communist revolution in the main land.

check the land here, we have 2 cluster of islands

I didn't say Portugal wasn't independent, I just pointed out that it was under the Spanish Crown. After the death of King Henry of Portugal, King Philip II of Spain was elected King of Portugal on the condition that Portugal wouldn't become a Spanish province. Spanish Kings Philip III and Philip IV (until 1640) were also kings of Portugal.

Your map helps some ... but it looks like half of waters in the Atlantic (the dark blue) is only a claim to jurisdiction extended over the continental shelf submitted by Portugal, not what is internationally recognized as Portuguese sovereign territory (the light blue).

Admittedly, I'm splitting hairs here. I have distant ancestors that emigrated from the Azores to Quebec (back in the seventeenth century, I don't remember the surname offhand, but I'll look it up later). Also, my niece's fiance was born in Portugal.

but that was only a small period of 70 years, its hard to understand because as to do with monarchs families, and their right of heritage, you have to read a lot to understand all families their marriages etc.I dont know them all not even close lol.
in 1425 we were already conquering Africa

because we are in that process of recognition, the dark blue will become light blue.
no worries you aren't splitting any hairs I dont really care with that. we are talking about history, but I admit I should know more, but oh boy its so so boring.

"I have distant ancestors that emigrated from the Azores to Quebec" there are studys going on that sustain that some Portuguese from Azores were also at the first American pilgrims

The history of countries that were at one time the great European powers is always interesting. Perhaps you could start a thread on that topic (under General Discussions), rather than debate it within a thread on electric shredders.

intresting i have that shredder
lets see if i can work with it
thanks mate

do you brought the steel combs? or the machine came with aluminium combs? steel combs only cost 5 EU and if you are not interested in shred stems the steel combs + the electric conversion are enough.

was just a little conversation about history, Im not the right person to really go deep about historic facts because I haven't been a great student at the past.
I only have superficial knowledge about it.

In Europe, anything electric is likely to be prohibitively expensive. And customs would likely make importing a powermatic, if one's to be had right now, expensive for Europeans buyers too. His best bet, then, is probably getting a Gabej and using a power screwdriver on the handle to "motorize" it.

i have cylinder combs or what they called
like the mashine on video u send
anyway i manage to make it work
so a cheap shredder (15-20 euros)and an electric screw do the trick
powermatic gonna be very expensive i guess
As for the customs i have to tell u must order and chose usps for deliver
its expensive but chances are low to cut the parcel
