Ahus

[CaptainAubrey]

Greetings,

I would like to know the characteristics of Ahus tobacco. All I have found is "is a compact growing, very early maturing tobacco variety that is a great choice for Northern climates and areas with shorter growing seasons."

If you know a little more I would sure like to hear it.

Thanks,
John

Some members have grown it. Type "Ahus" into the search box, top right. Several pages of posts pull up from members' grow blogs with photos.

You just made me think of L'Assomption 201. http://nwtseeds.com/L'Assomption.htm
I had success growing it in a pot on a balcony one year when I was living in a condo #gardenersprison. It was only one plant. I fermented it in a carotte, and it was the most successful cigar tobacco I have grown in central Alberta.

OK, thanks. I now know it is also called Alida. So I will search for that.
