Hello,
I quit my job in Queenstown & moved to Tauranga (New Zealand) in February with intentions to grow tobacco. Tauranga is mild temperatures & much more rain. Occasional frosts vs occasional snow for Queenstown. Summers are similar. Had enough in a big way of buying. This week my 50 gram roll own went from NZ$85 to NZ$92. 50 gram a week. Am going broke & one plant will grow that much or more. Been reading up a lot here, plenty very useful information. Here the Govt wants NZ to be smoke free by 2025 but have recently admitted its unachievable. So I went a bit paranoid & maybe rightly so. Next would be to ban grow ones own. I've noticed a lot here in NZ on FB groups are happy with Virginia Gold. I've been getting a variety of seed to have choices. Will be interesting eventually to blend a good smoke. (cigarettes, small cigar). Thanks,
