The fertilizer company I work for has a granular plant and a liquid plant.
When they custom blend a mix for.a.customer they keep a sample of 16oz.
Just in case the farmer bitches that the fertilizer was no good.they can test the sample and end the dispute..they keep you this sample for a year.then toss the bottles.
I've asked the plant operator that I would like to have those samples when they were obsolete.. All the bottles are labeled with the n-p-k.
Well yesterday he gave them to me 96 bottles..at a mix of 8oz. Per gallon of.water..each bottle will make 2 gallons of fertilizer.
Needless to say I now have plenty of liquid fertilizer
