Good afternoon gents
Yesterday I finished the whole thread about making home cavendish and I got inspired so I started the hunt of some leaf for the procedure but in the meanwhile I decided to try some tricks I learn in other pipe forum that I would like to share and hear your opinions.
I have a tin of Captain Black Golden that produce a terrible bite tongue so following some suggestions I stoved it using the four twos rule, two hundreds degrre, two hours cook time, two hours cool down and two weeks rest, in two weeks time I will see if it worth the time invested and let you know.
I also have a pound of very dry shered plain burley, I cased it with a mixture of 1:1 water and sugar plus a bit of vinager, cloves and rum. After rehidrate and heat the tobacco I barely sprayed it with a litle bit of the casing sauce (I was told less is better to avoid bite tongue due to excess of sugar) put in a vaccum sealed jar, next week will see is there is any change for good.
Thanks for watching and wait for results

Captain Black Gold is a straightforward honey Cavendish. It's greatest fault is that it contains typical commercial humectants (glycerin or polypropyleneglycol [PPG] or both). Some oven time may help with that.
