Hello everyone!
My name is Steve. I live in ARIZONA. I am a disabled veteran of operation enduring freedom (Afghanistan). Among other medals received, I got a Purple Heart and a Joint Service Commendation. The PH was from a roadside bomb and it crushed the lower part of my spine. I can still walk (kind of) but the pain is pretty intense. My main problems are the ptsd (post traumatic stress disorder) and traumatic brain injury that I received.
I have a wife and a set of twins (boy and girl). Been married for 12 years this year. She has put up with a lot, and I respect her for that. I know she didn't sign up to take care of a 30 year old cripple for the rest of her life, but she does it with a smile on her face and seems to actually enjoy it. I can do most things myself, but bending to tie shoes and pulling up my jeans aren't in the list.
I ride motorcycles. It hurts very badly to do it, but I think I would have a breakdown if I couldn't ride anymore. I am a Freemason. No it's not a cult, religion, or secret society. (and we rarely sacrifice babies...lol) the only secrets we have are our handshakes, passwords, and the way we initiate our members. Everything else is available to the general public.
I have a state issued license to grow my own pain medication, and I'm VERY good at it.
I home brew my own beer and distill my own "lawnmower fuel" that smells remarkably like Irish whiskey......
I quit smoking cigarettes a year ago after smoking for 15 years....she said I could buy another bike if I did...hello heritage softail!! I still enjoy a few cigars a month, and smoke hookah as well. I want to try growing my own tobacco to have a truly fresh, chemical additive free source of cigars and shisha blends.
So far, I have had nothing but support on this site, and can already feel the sense of community here. Thank you for making me a member and I hope to share my first grow with you all soon!!
