Can you guys give me basic ciggarete blend recipes.

Someone told me , 80%Burley 15%Virginia 15%Turkish

My preference is turkish , when I was told most american blends are burley ( makes sense I can taste it) but I completely quit buying burley it was not my favorite , not that I wouldn't give it another chance....

80% burley will make a strong cig. The “classic” American blend is roughly 50% flue cured 40% burley and 10% oriental. I would start from there and adjust to suit your taste. Maryland is similar to burley in taste but somewhat milder, it may be a good substitute for burley if you prefer a “lighter” blend.

Try a blend of 90% flue-cured, 10% oriental. You may like that alone. Then try adding in small amounts of burley or maryland for strength and throat impact, if desired. I find that for my tastes, anything about 25% burley begins to overpower. But I also gave up cigs after finding that smoking a pipe scratched my itch well enough.

Pipe tobacco has nearly the same ph as cigarettes , so would be great substitute < thanks for sharing! Add the burley bit by bit...

I found Dons tobacco coosy imprint recipes , and awesome material in pdf !

What gets me is all the < tobacco powder > that does not go into powermatic .. I'm thinking try a ciggarete tap/bumper box or produce oral moist snuff . I wonder if I can super plug press to remake a smokeable product...?..?...

Currently i do 60g Virginia 45g burley and 15g turkish. To me personally the blend afterwards isn't strong enough yet and has some burn consistency issues. So i need to add a casing still for it to turn out the way i want.

I am however still experimenting with different suppliers, blends and casing so i wouldn't say this is a fine tuned blend by any means

I've used 15-20 percent burley to my Virginia. But the burley is TOASTED, reduces tongue bit & throat harshness
The burley gives a full flavor cigarette

You might try Kentucky Burley Red Tips, Dark Air Cured and RIPE Flue Cured Virginia to give it a boost.
