My problem:
I love cigars, I love rolling cigars.

My wife's problem:
I love rolling cigars on the kitchen table

What I need help with:

I am envisioning a TV dinner table that is foldable, but has adequate room to roll a stogie, has a easily disassembled shelf and is light weight.

Any ideas?

I've seen the second one, but not the first. I might just have to buy a wooden TV dinner table and convert it. I'm thinking some cubbies on the back side of the table that I can separate filler, binder and wrappers, and then get a good solid chunk of maple my folks have at their house for a thicker cutting area.

thanks for the links!

If you have a tiny extra space, look around at the antique stores. I bought a child's roll top desk for $65.00. It was covered in some nasty pink translucent glaze and looked awful. I stripped it and refinished it. It was solid maple, solid as a rock and it's now gorgeous. We use it as mail center to hide our mail, envelopes, stamps, etc. from sight, but it would make a fantastic rolling table with three drawers, a pull out writing board, and the roll top to pull down and hide your stuff. It's about three feet wide and even came with a matching maple swivel chair.

An antique secretary with the fold down lid/table would work nice as well. Look around and use your imagination and some elbow grease.

This is the kid's roll top that is now my mail center. This or something similar would make a great rolling table, stash. $65.00 plus sandpaper, stain, and tung oil I already had. It takes up very little space, three ft. wide. Look around.

I suggest just simply cleaning up your scraps and wipeing the table down when your done!
$15.00 at walmart for a folding wood table.

Oh I clean up, it's just the concept/using her cutting boards that tend to lead her to the conversation of "what is this crap all over the place"
