Cuban leaf harvest

I don't know if this is wrapper leaf, but this is how green the cigar leaf in Cuba is harvested. It appears as if there is no yellowing at all.

This is a good shot of another curing shelter. All it needs is a tarp for a cover. This is likely a temporary wilting scaffold. After a few days in the sun, the sticks are likely put in a barn.

That is some GREEN leaf. Notice the holes in the leaf. I suspect this is not wrapper leaf, but it is still being harvested early.

You can see a small blade in his hand. Notice the stems are cut and not snapped off. Because the leaf isn't ripe, it doesn't snap off cleanly. There must be some reason to harvesting cigar tobacco early.
