Johnlee1933 will be missed. I called him John. I talked last week with him. It was a different conversation than usual. I will miss him. When we first engaged online we jested with each other and we kept that up till we contacted each other and by phone learned a bit more about each other.. I considered him a great friend that I would never meet in person although I wish I had.
God Bless Johnlee1933

I don't know why this song came to my mind, but I can not stop mumble it. I love you johnlee1933 and see you...

Life is rich, but it's way too short

You make a lot of money, but you just want more
I don't need the pain right here in my heart
But I hate every minute when we're so far apart,...

Yesterday I drove down to John's house and met his son, Eric. I had a nice talk with Eric about John and conveyed everyone's condolences. John wanted his tobacco to be enjoyed by his friends, so Eric and I loaded up my wife's SUV and I drove it back up. If anyone wants something to remember John by, give me a PM, and we can share what's there. At some point I will try to inventory everything.

The car smelled wonderful on the ride home! Like a fine cigar shop. I took this week off work, luckily, and was able to spend much of today hanging up John's 2013 crop, much of which was already cured, and storing his 2012. Unfortunately we have been having a spell of dry weather, but I was able to bring the leaves, still on the sticks John strung them on, up to case by leaving the windows and back hatch of the car open all night.

I think I miss him the most early in the mornin'.He was always on early.

Me too. I had gotten in the habit of clicking on his name and seeing which thread he was reading. I do that with alot of the guys.

This is really touching.

Thank you Don. I knew you'd be the right one for the honor. Eric seems to be his fathers son, so I'm sure he'll pull through ok.

DonH, You lucky dog you, I used to pm and talk with John on the phone frequently. I NEVER GOT TO MEET HIM IN PERSON.
I am sure his son Eric was a pleasure to meet also, John spoke of him often when him and his friends would come over. He used to send me some of the coolest emails on my personal email that were just realy fantastic subject matter.
