Is anyone else following the game?

I've never been a big fan of soccer but a few friends were talking about, I heard some radio talk on it and then I finally watched the first game ever (during the group stage). I have to admit, it's pretty intensev at points. I'm usually a hockey fan although I admit that I never really start watching the game until the Canucks make it into the play offs and, since this is rare, I have my relief for rooting a team on in FIFA.

So as I type this Brazil has already suffered an incredable defeat by Germany (the team I'm rooting for since I decend from german folks) by 7-1 with 5 oals with in the first 30 minutes and Netherlands and Argintina will be playing tomorrow. Now, I'm not too involved with that I'd have a reaction to a loss by my team but Dear lord to see the reaction of the fans is probably my favorite part and in paticularly the brazilian fans reaction from a look of disbelief after the 3rd goal to out right crying by full grown men after the 5th goal kind of tugged at the humor part of my brain, for one thing, it's just a game. That siad, Brazil did have an embarresing loss in their home country to boot.

I've watched almost ever game played this year, but last nights game was a master class from Germany. I felt sorry for the fans because the Brazilian team was a disgrace, they didn't show no pride except the last 10 minutes of the game. I'd like to see Argentina vs Germany in the final, that will make for some good football.

I have to admit that I was a we bit worried that germany would lose when I recalled Brazils game in the round of 16. But I guess Brazils spirit was dashed after losing 2 key players.

Well, Netherlands and Argentina are about to face off. Mrs.beekeeper is rooting for Argentina because she can't stand 'Diving Robben' lol. But I still root for Dutch. Is Argentina a good team? I don't see it but everyone says they'll be a hard team to beat, I guess we'll see.
