Plants have put on up to 2 feet in the last two weeks; many are at the 6 foot mark now. Most have caught up to the Iranians, which were well ahead 2 weeks ago.

Spotted the first aphid-infested plant this am. They're on the smallest MCB in the patch. Been there a while - the smaller top leaves (six to eight) were well populated. A few on neighboring plants too.

Got the wife's sprayer with Ivory soap, and gave them a free morning bath, complements of the management.

I may have jumped the gun by spraying early in the morning - there may be some spotting from the sun acting on the spray solution. We'll see!

I've found them a few times over the last 7 weeks. Like you found some yesterday late afternoon 1 plant was infested while there were some on 2 plants next to it. So I too went for the spray bottle to give em a squirt and checked all the leaves of each plant top to bottom. Paying close attention to their undersides will check these plants again later today.
It pays to sucker often, help you find unwanted friends.
