Welp it's done. I didn't really have time or room or money to set up a kiln. I liked the results so I just ground it all up.
Older large tobacco leaves - annoying to cure, and dry.
Younger tobacco leaves and smaller ones - easier to cure yellowed then browned with ease and dried, no hiccups
Not an huge notable difference in weight after processed, and failed to note any difference in terms of potency between the two, they both give me intense head rush and calmness.
I will be running experiment next year everything can go except flowering. I believe the over pruning etc was a result in many of them not growing, perhaps I went overboard, but all my largest plants where results of me messing " " up pruning. I do not think they like to be messed with be best to let them bush. As well growing conditions were not desirable. I will probably try some in pots next year. Aim to grow bushy plants and not as much going for large leaves? I guess.
After I'm done all my current stock of snuff I don't think I'll bother with regular tobacco nasal snuff at this point - for myself the effects of rustica is far superior, and last waaaaaaay longer (I feel the warmth and slight ease for 15-20 afterwards) even after blowing my nose I can feel it.
Overall sad I didn't get more then a couple oz of good usable tobacco flour but I've learned so much I'm very excited for next year.
Smell is a mix between regular nasal snuff slightly barn like with raisin, it does burn but goes away after a few seconds, I don't think I'll be adding carbonate or altering it at all as it gives me exactly what I want as is. I was hoping for a lb ( lol ) it was a small success but a success none the less.
Also noted all of my "younger" bushier small leaf plants where all 45+ days old at that point. Oldest largest where at least 2 months+
