Hi

I have read lot of topics on the forum, very interresting and helpfull.
But i have a little question, what is the best?? shredd fresh leaf with a gabbej shredder and then dry them, or shredd leaf after they have been drying under sun??
What is the difference for the taste??
i add just a movie that i find very cool:

Great video thanks for posting it. Someone had some skills to build that. I really liked the Craftsman ratchet he used to advance the threaded rod to push the brick of tobacco into the cutter, that was genius.

We all shred the leaf after it has been cured. I saw a video of a machine that was shredding green leaf. I can't say which is best as I've only done it one way.

Hey ta' arora. I just did some green shread, I do this when I put it in the smoker. It is however a fire flue type of cure. I only do it on Turkish (oriental) tobacco. I like the flavor of it when it comes out after 12 or so hrs. I also do the same with whole leaf as well. And that is a small amount for cigs. It changes the flavor a bit. I mix it with VG and Burly tobacco. It takes the same time to age however and watch case.
