After three years of faithful service, it is finally time to say goodbye to my beloved cigar holder. Yes, this chunk o cherry wood (from a $5 bag of smoking wood chunks) has been my go to rest for all my outdoor smoking needs. Why? Because it was handy, and cheap. Didn’t work so well when it was windy though (about 360 days of the year here).

Poking around the garage this weekend I stumbled across a small stash of hardwood deck scraps and decided to play a little Jenga with the table saw.

Freshly glued and still soaking in a coating of butcher block oil.

That is an impressive construction. It's design is an imagination engine. Have you considered adding wheels?

(I'm almost inspired to show off a walnut pipe stand that I specifically designed to hold 3 calabash pipes--one full-size and two minis. But it takes up about a half-acre, and I no longer use it.)
