I've read through the forum discussions for a long time and learned a lot. I'm grateful to have such a place for everyone to exchange ideas and learn together.

I enjoy cigars, mostly Padron Dunbarton or Aladino Corojo. Domestically produced cigars in China are generally milder, with a roasted tobacco style. I hope to buy more Nica Ligeros and Maduros to roll myself. I even imagine trying to use some HU pipe tobacco as filler for cigars – that sounds like endless fun!

I hope to discuss and learn more with everyone in the future, making tobacco a source of enjoyment. Thank you.

It's actually a factory date and the code for the roller, but it can also be used to verify authenticity and for tax management. Our main problems are state-owned production and sales, poor quality control (each batch has a different blend), and reluctance to use ligero and Nicaraguan leaves.

In the state I live in, all the liquor stores are owned and operated by the state. I'd be surprised if any major countries in this world have a truly free market.

I've heard that some control states in the US are really annoying. They also impose high taxes on tobacco products. But for me, the climate here isn't suitable for Cuban seeds, and the government bans seed imports, which is very troublesome. Fortunately, commercial cigars occasionally go on sale, and if we can get them close to MSRP, we're doing alright, and we can manage.
