Hi guys, I'm from Italy and I was really happy when I discovered this forum.
This is the best place so far that I have found.

I might be a little newbie in Cigars (smoking them since last year) but I have a long past of hand rolled cigarettes, lot of weed from highschool: don't blame me, it was good and fun back then, then came UNI and my current job (chemist) and I stopped. Also vapes and homemade juices.

I have so many questions for you, already been searching informations in this beautiful forum for a long time and I really want to understand more about slow smoking and cigars in particular.

In Italy we smoke Toscano and others, almost all made from Kentucky fire cured tobacco, not bad but there isn't much choice a part from Cubans.

I'm looking forward to learn from the community.

Have a nice day!

While the stick diagram of your avatar is definitive, the chemical formula itself may equally apply to a handful of other chemicals which you might not want to smoke.

As a chemist I'm also interested in those strange chemicals, you never know what you end up with in what you are smoking.

I was thinking about letting a shredded cuban cigar (not an expensive one), or shredded tobacco leaves, in propylene glycol, one of the two components of e-juice base, for a month or two to extract all the stuff and then proceed to make the liquid to vape.

I had a friend who claimed he did this process but I didn't ask more informations.

I'm curios about the outcome, he stated that it was great but had a really different taste and feeling than smoking a real cuban. (of course ahah)

Maybe I will do that and I will let you know the results : )
