I was wondering if you were a machine going that fast.
I timed it putting the hole in the plastic and dirt with the stand n plant and then planting by hand it took 22 min. 15 seconds to do thirty plants and having a good luck swig of beer for each plant also.

I added 1 16oz cup of Fast2Grow to each plant

You can go with a 1:30 ratio on the FAST2GROW on any tobacco transplant. What this biostimulant does when used at trans plant ,is prevents shock due to ABIOTIC STRESS. ( Lack of water,ferts and change to sun ect. handling) Two to three weeks later use a regiment of 1:100 to the leaf. Great plants and root balls Greg.

Time Flies When You're Having Fun


I lied. Being curious if my estimate was correct, I timed transplanting 8 plants yesterday. It took 13 minutes. So...a bit over a minute and a half per plant.

That's pretty good, it takes me about 2 minutes per plant.

What this biostimulant does when used at trans plant ,is prevents shock due to ABIOTIC STRESS. ( Lack of water,ferts and change to sun ect. handling) .

You can get the same effect by using kelp extract. Not the liquid stuff you buy but the powdered extract that you add water too.

Finally done 400 in the ground.237 today, time for a tall cool frosty beverage. I dont want to do that again any time soon.

i like the way u marked your rows.. i use cable marking flags,,,, [ those flags you see in the ditch alongside a road. showing something is buried under the flag ]

Majeck marker will fade in the sun I can barly read some of mine. I was told to use a greese pensal but didn't. I have color codes so I know whats what but Ill lose dates.

i use a permanent marker, it does good and goes all season without fading.

Cheap Trick for Markers

You can use a tongue blade (wide craft stick) or Popsicle sticks, marked with an ordinary Sharpie. I mark them on both sides. If the stick is inserted into the ground at an angle, so that one of the surfaces leans toward North, that surface will get so little sun that it won't fade much. I use this method year after year--fresh sticks each year.

No damage looks like the mulch helped but they need to dry out a bit not supposed to rain anymore till next week
