As luck would have it my wife met the neighbors today as he was bringing us some freshly laid eggs from his chicken farm I guess it will be pretty easy to find free fertilizer after all

Finally got some time off this weekend to deal with the crazy baccy,my wife transplanted the first 72,20150507_235444_20150508_000439.jpg20150507_235621_20150508_000505.jpg20150507_235639_20150508_000529.jpg20150507_235658_20150508_000551.jpgonly ten times that many to do,also collected some more wood,and need to build some kind of greenhouse so the plants can get outside

Got to visit Chicken last week on my way to Miami only had about an hr to spare but it was a time he shared some admire and some baccy fertilizer that i will try out later in the year

I slapped a greenhouse toghter..a little late...but it will double as a curing shed...for my colour curing

And yes the visit was nice...

Hi Greg, your going to have a nice patch this year. I don't know how you manage to keep up with them driving truck and tending the patch that is a trick. Nice place you moved in to, how much land have you got now? I like the stream if enough fall / drop a small hydro gen. could off set the power bill. Looks like your getting a good start on your fire wood, I can see a deer taken from the tree line outside the door too. I've bookmarked your thread here so I can keep up with your grow. I may not say much but will be tagging along. Put my place on the market a few weeks ago it will take some time to sell but when it does I'll be moving to North Maine. When I get there I'll start to grow a garden and tobacco again until than no patch here. The best to you Brent
