Today when I woke up and looked outside, it feels very distant until the tobacco can be planted out

Try a brutal haircut of 6 pcs KY17 and 6 pcs KY171. I will cut these down several times and then compare these plants with others throughout the season.

April 6th. Hope it's the last snowfall now, had hoped to be able to put out the first plants around May 10th, but first the tobacco field has to be prepared, and it will be difficult if there is still snow

I will take a bit of a chance with early planting this year, so now I have 90 reserve plants, in case frost takes the first ones, and the reserve plants are mainly varieties that mature quickly.
Here in Stockholm it is 12°C today and it was very warm and sunny yesterday, it was great but there is still patches of snow left on the ground.

All the snow is gone here now, and yesterday we had around 12 degrees celsius, I worked out in the garden half the day and didn't need a jacket, so it's spring in the air now
But the forecast 10 days ahead doesn't look so good, with frost some nights, but no new snow coming.

I can only imagine what it's like to live in the far North. The only time I've ever seen snow on the ground was when my ex-wife and I traveled to Illinois one Christmas in the seventies to visit her grandmother and that was only little patches of snow here and there. It's actually cooled down to the mid-eighties here today. it's been in the low to mid-nineties for the last several weeks during the day.

I have as far north to Sweden's northernmost point as south to southern Italy or Greece. It's actually pretty amazing to live where I do. We have four completely different seasons that are very different. Every season has its charm. The spring that starts now is fantastic when everything in nature comes to life again, the trees start to green up and the birds find their way here again. And soon I can plant the tobacco

Now the tobacco field has received cow manure. Here in these areas where I live, they say that "Now the village smells of money"

Am on a week's holiday in Cyprus now, left home last Sunday, had then moved all the tobacco out to the barn where it is cooler, watered everything, and then said goodbye to the plants. Has camera surveillance over everything, now lying at the pole in Cyprus and seeing that it's time to water them soon. Lucky I have adult children who live nearby who fix it for me
