Hi,

I am delighted to find this forum and even more delighted to see the generosity of those who are making it possible for me to grow my own tobacco!

Thank you very much!

I grew up near tobacco growing and was pretty freaked out by all the chemicals used.
Yes those insects were might big and hungry; so I want to avoid inhaling unnecessary toxins.
Thanks again!

Welcome aboard. There are a few of us committed to raising chemical free plants. Of course as you pointed out, there are some mighty hungry critters out there waiting to chomp down on our sweet, luscious baccy leaves. On the other hand, the residual amounts of chemicals left on the leaf can be low. What is really bad are the chemicals 'big tobacco' adds to tobacco.

What varieties are thinking of growing?
