They're foul. I like the wrapper leafs kind of it's sugary but the taste I don't like. It's supposed to be aromatic but I can't stomach it.

I was going to grow Orientals. Maybe I should grow some Virginia gold? I prefer mellow and mild smokes even though I would like to enjoy flavor as well.

Aromatic ≠ Oriental, IME. I'd take the statement "natural rolled leaf" with a liberal pinch of salt; it doesn't say 100% or even the word "tobacco". "Aromatic" usually implies some sort of scent/flavoring, be it natural/organic or otherwise.

When I can afford it I'll buy a pound, I don't have a shredder though. The game leaf is among the cheapest money can buy. I guess I was wondering if all Orientals were harsh but I believe it's simply the quality of the leaf.

I pulled out of growing last spring when i had plans, I'll definitely start a grow blog when I do grow. At my garden the area is known for radon gas.
