I am posting this video as a public service. Hopefully it will never apply to you but if the situation arises you may be glad you watched this. IMHO this should get wide distribution. (I copied just the link so nothing else that may have been attached to the Email I received should be passed on.)

I just checked the link. It works.

Yep
We have them over here. most Railway Stations, Airports and public building have them. They do save lives, it makes a lot of sense.

Hi John

There are very few reports of them being stolen, they have no scrap value plus most people think they are good things. They are all numbered, I expect you would need to get them calibrated some time so they would soon find that it was stolen.

I've given a lot of money to Medtronic over the years, I wonder if I can get one for free ;)

Just remember, feel for a carotid pulse, if you don't feel one, 2 mins CPR while someone attaches aed, zap em if indicated, 2 more mins CPR, cycle that 3 times and hopefully help will be there by then or they've pushed you off by then, if not keep the CPR going

The cheapest Defrib. I can find is just shy of $1000 and isn't a brand name like Medtronic (top 5 in medical device manufacturing) I dare say it'd cost a pretty cent.
