Good afternoon to you all,

My name is Bruno Robalo, i am 37 years old and i am from Lisbon, Portugal.

I have two decoration stores in Portugal, a children's parties animation company and i am also a pipe maker.

I started smoking pipes on a more serious manner almost 3 years ago. When i was a little boy i remember contemplating my father's pipes and i can still remember "that" scent...

Hope i can contribute to this forum. I am sure i will learn A LOT!

Regards from Portugal.

Bruno

Thank you Darren!

I would love to but here in Portugal it is not easy.

I now make pipes and the next step will be to make my own blends.

History is repeating itself, tobacco seeds and knowledge this time moving from the Americas to Europe. Kinda neat, welcome.

Didn't the tobacco seeds and knowledge always come from America?

Anyway - welcome aboard brurobas! If I can grow tobacco here in England - I'm sure you'd get a fine crop in sunny Portugal.

Cheers

Bruno - where's the popeye avatar? I really like it. Cartoons are cool.

If you are planning on growing some, you may want to check out the leaf at www.wholeleaftobacco.com . You can try some varieties to help you decide what to grow and most important, start saving money right now. There are some good threads on flavoring tobacco and Deluxestogie even has a thread on making your own Cavendish.
