Hello all,
I live in Canada, alberta specifically, I have a couple hobbies such as snowmobiles, Im into street bikes, and old cars, I smoke the occasional pipe and cigar and want to start growing my own baccy this summer for it. I want to use it as foilage around the yard because they look pretty epic and grow huge! Its just a bonus to be able to do something with it afterwards. Im pretty glad I found this forum the information is awesome! I grow a variety of other plants and I hope that growing baccy is as enjoyable as growing them!

anyway just a short hello :)

Welcome to the forum, Thunderhorse.

If you've ever started tomatoes from seed, the process is similar for tobacco. Start indoors 6-8 weeks before your last frost date, then transplant after that date. Look around the site for details, and for info on management and harvest, not to mention curing and finishing.

Good to have you here. If you click on My Profile (upper right), you can add your location to your profile. Then it will appear in each of your posts, and make it easier for other members to provide more relevant answers and comments in response to your posts.

Corvettes and camaros mostly, I restored a 1975 corvette recently, those cars are a ton of work and tricky, nothing like the 1986 chev silverauto that i restored for a daily driver haha tons of room to work with on the truck, nothing for room on the car haha thanks for the welcome!
