Hello from Slovenia

I'm few days around now and it's time to introduce myself. I'm mostly cigarette smoker but I like to enjoy tobacco in general. Addicted.
Last year I have had my first harvest

Tobacco was on three different locations. Here is only may home garden.
I had five varieties which I mixed, cause i didn't remove bud heads. So this year I will start with new seeds, little more knowledge and experiences thanks to all you guys, specially deluxestogie from whom I learned from his grow log a lot.
In Slovenia we are only few in tobacco growing but popularity is rising.
Few days ago i start with germination test for some sorts I will grow this year and i have results in progress. At the moment i make plan how and where to grow.

I didn't buy cigarettes for three month now. My tobacco is quite ok but i expect better in forthcoming year. I even smoke few of my own cigars....

Thats a good intro. I have no clue where Slovenia is, But I suspect its north of me. Heh heh. You type good English in a Slovenian sort of way. Welcome to the forum and thats a cool garden. You know what I mean?

I still get a small shock when I see the map of the Balkan states and Yugoslavia is gone. I wish I had European maps down through the years . It is always changing.

I have a Yugoslavian M48 Mauser rifle. Very well made. I also have a German 98 that was rearsenalled in Yugoslavia after the war. It was either a captured gun or as part of war reparations. I'm not sure. I think it's called the Yugo M98 to distinguish it. It has the Yugo crest and the reblue is deep and pretty.

That is awesome. I put the number in Google and it took me right there. It won't zoom very close though, but I could tell you live next to a park or somewhere with alot of trees and few houses. Nice.

I just used regular Google. If I subscribe to Google Earth, will it allow me to zoom down closer and with more detail? Regular Google just showed me the neighborhood. If I'm going all the way over there to steal your motorcycle, I'd like a little closer look at it before I head out.

It uses whatever maps are on file, usually the good pics are from ag fly overs where you can make out people on the ground. But usually you just get that level rarely. They certainly aren't from space most of the time, and I think only Hollywood lets them form pixels out of thin air to "enhance" down to the detail needed to spot our baccy patches. BigB's probably shows up pretty good tho hehe
