Hi, my name is Rex, and I have been smoking cigars for almost 22 years I believe.

It all started with my Father. He loved his cigars, but I thought they stunk up the house something awful. I remember coming home for Christmas from my first teaching job, every night he would smoke 1-2 cigars as he watched tv. No big deal as everybody smoked in the house 30 years ago. I remember returning home with my wife and young son, opening up the suitcase and smelling that damn stinky cigar! It was all over our clothes! The next time I went to visit I asked him to please not smoke inside while we were there. Looking back on that now, I feel kind of bad. It was his house, who am I to ask these things, but he did it.

Anyway, he had tried for years to have me smoke a cigar with him. No deal! I thought they were terrible... It wasn't until after he passed, that I found some of his cigars still in the refrigerator. (I know, I know) I took three cigars and smoked them in his memory. The first cigar was absolutely terrible! The next day I smoked the second.... better, not bad, meh. The third day I smoked the last cigar. My thought as I finished... 'Where can I get more of these!' lol!

That was my start, 22 years ago. Now I live in South Dakota, where they will not allow the sale of cigars online. I've had to have someone be my receiver, then reship to me. With this lockdown/stay at home thing going on, I need a hobby! So, Ima gonna start makin' my own cigars! I just ordered the Terroso Profundo kit, as well as the Oscuro y Rico kit! I am SO excited to do this! :)
