Hello all!! I'm Jordan, 26 from the UK! I found this forum when searching for tips on how to grow and cure tobacco! This forum has everything I needed to know so it would be rude not to join :)
I am currently growing my first 2 plants which are 4.5 months old and beginning to mature. These have been grown indoors in a grow tent (due to weather in the UK when I wanted to start the hobbie). I intend on trying to grow outdoors and indoors this year!

Hey Jordan how’s it going? How are you intending to cure your leaf? Interested to hear how you get on

Hey! All good here! I am curing by hanging in grow tent until yellow (60-70% humidity), then hanging them to dry out completely (40% humidity) . Once dry I am putting in a vacuum bag with a little moisture. Once the plant is fully harvested, ill put all leaves in my home made kiln for a month at 52 degrees and 70-75% humidity. Will let you know know the final smoke is as this is my first crop

Welcome to the forum!

What varieties are you growing? Are you going for cigar, pipe, cigs, etc.?
Thank you! I am not actually sure on variety! Before I did intensive research I just purchased Amber Leaf seeds from eBay. Its came to light that you can't just buy this product as its made from different blends! Hopefully my grow is good for cigarette:)

Nice work, total amateur here but the cured leaf looks great well done!
I am also very new to this! Only decided to start the hobby (hence only two plants) August 2020 which was far too late to grow outside! The plants are very small but as above, I am not 100% on the variety I am growing due to not having the knowledge when buying and germinating the seeds! I have learned from this forum what to buy so will be trying this year outdoors! Thank you! Need to get them in the kiln when the plant is harvested and then try it!
I also did not have grow tent as you probably noticed at the beginning which may contribute to the plants growth... not sure. Good luck on yours!
