Hello, I'm a shiny brand new user. I know nothing about whole leaf tobacco. I've been smoking cigarettes forever, but just recently started making my own with store bought junk and I'm saving lots of money. I also took up pipe smoking a while back. I guess I'm here to learn more about tobacco. Mostly I like saving money.

Welcome! I went through the "dual use" phase for cigarettes, I wasn't real happy with it. Starting from whole leaf is more work, but the results are worth the trouble. The blend kits would be a good place to start, you can tweak them a little bit at a time to figure out what you like. After several years, I still don't smoke the same blend for more than a few months. Change has gotten to be a good thing. There are some good threads in here about blending for cigarettes, search them out. Have some fun, ask some questions.

Welcome there is not better way to get started that this sale Don is having. I am in Alberta so our humidity is fairly dry with Dons tobacco it comes vacum packed and its good to go till you open the bag. The sale will not last long so take advantage
