Hi my name is Tom, I am 38 from Suffolk Uk.
I am a self employed fabricator welder with many interests spanning from building things in wood and metal to growing plants and fungi, forex trading is my main subject atm.
I thought I better Join as my interests align with everyone's here. I was desperate for information about tobacco processing and came across the forum before I joined many months back.
My love of tobacco has been since I was about 14 when I smoked my first cig, now I tend to use a vape or snus for nicotine, but you can't beat a fine cigar or even a pipe now and then. Cigars I have especially enjoyed
have been the Montecristo no5 and no2, but I really like the brick house cigars too among many less expensive but highly enjoyable ones. Last year I grew my biggest crop of tobacco (Del Gold)
92 plants not fully realizing the magnitude of my endeavor. I lost a lot to mold in the colour curing process, but had enough still on the plants to keep experimenting. I did succeed in getting
a fair bit, this year I fermented three small batches for 7 weeks and the rest is flour for snus. Thank you to everyone here for the valuable information that helped me get this far.
