Hiccups while smoking

The last few times while smoking I got the case of the hiccups and it usually happens when I use Criolo Ligero in the blend.
I thought it was something in the Criolo leaf causing it but it is in fact just the nicotine, probably those sticks I rolled were too strong or I smoked them too fast.
I also thought that maybe I was holding my breath while puffing or not getting enough air etc..

Never knew that nicotine can bring on the hiccups.

Yup, niccups. They go away and then every once in a blue moon you have something that isn't high nicotine and you get em again anyway, so I think there is more to it than just that.

Overdose for me is preceded by sneezes, not hiccups.
I think hiccups are sometimes just a reaction of the esophagus getting irritated and causing spasms in the diaphragm, but I don't think it's necessarily just nicotine.
